Babylon 5 I've found her one of the two finest indie [free] space combat games
A strange name indeed for a very fine game and one of the most impressive independent and free games you can play on any platform . The fact that it lets you buzz Babylon 5 ships stations and frigates in your little starfury is a bonus. Seriously this is one of THE greatest space combat games , one of two great totally free space combat projects that you can only find on the pc , grab your ancestral forcefeedback pro [ there will be one in grandads attic ] and away you go remember if you go to Zahadum you will die.... but before you do be sure to check out Space Dream Factory and their homepage where you can download the game
there is of course the sad memory of the official Babylon 5 game from Sierra , which was cancelled along with eventually Sierra itself :
